France Wins the European U21 Judo Championships

The European U21 Judo Championships concluded in Podgorica, Montenegro. On the final day of competition, five sets of medals were awarded in the men's -90 kg, -100 kg and +100 kg categories, as well as the women's -78 kg and +78 kg divisions.

France claimed two gold medals on the final day of the tournament. Azerbaijan, Spain and Russia each secured one additional European title.

France comfortably finished on top of the overall medal table with 4 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals. Azerbaijan placed second with 3 gold and 2 bronze medals, while Spain completed the top three with 2 gold and 2 bronze medals.

The Armenian team was represented by six judokas, but none managed to win a medal.
