Following the tense Armenian Cup semifinal match against FC "Noah," which was marked by controversial moments and sparked widespread reaction, FC "Van" released an official statement.
"We urge everyone to refrain from loud and unfounded statements, and not to drag our club into various off-field intrigues.
We also hope that everything that happened on the field did not go unnoticed by the match delegate and inspector — regardless of what language the obscene language was spoken in.
FC 'Van' strongly requests that everyone be respectful in their expressions and adhere to the principles of fair play, human decency, and professional ethics," the club said in the statement.
“We’ll see you at the return match on April 30. It’s going to be hot… football-wise, a very heated match awaits, you’ll see,” said head coach Vage Gevorgyan at the press conference.
