Futsal club Yerevan has claimed the Armenian championship title for the fourth time in its history. In the decisive third match of the final series, the team made a comeback and defeated Unisport with a score of 6–4.
During the match, Unisport confidently led 3–1, but Yerevan showed great character, turned the game around, and secured the victory, thus winning the championship.
Interestingly, Unisport had gone undefeated throughout the regular season, including two wins over Yerevan. However, the playoffs told a different story — Yerevan managed to put up a strong fight and proved their superiority in the series. Yerevan won the first match in a penalty shootout, Unisport took the second match 5–3 in regular time, and Yerevan sealed the title with a 6–4 win in the decisive game.
Thanks to this triumph, Yerevan has earned the right to participate in the qualifying round of the 2025/26 UEFA Futsal Champions League, which will kick off on August 26. At this stage, teams will be divided into groups of 3 or 4, and only the group winners will advance to the main round of the tournament.
