Four more Armenian wrestlers competed at the World U20 Freestyle Wrestling Championships

On August 18, the second day of the 2025 U20 World Wrestling Championships in freestyle wrestling, held in Bulgaria, four Armenian representatives took to the mat: Arman Harutyunyan (57 kg), Arman Musikyan (65 kg), Narek Nikoghosyan (79 kg), and Narek Ikilikyan (92 kg).
All of them completed their performances on this day. Arman Harutyunyan (57 kg) and Arman Musikyan (65 kg) each scored one victory but failed to advance further. Narek Nikoghosyan (79 kg) and Narek Ikilikyan (92 kg) lost in their opening bouts.
Nevertheless, all four Armenian wrestlers still have chances to continue in the repechage if their opponents reach the final.

79 kg (1/8 final): Narek Nikoghosyan — Mahi Yousefi (Iran) — 0:8
92 kg (1/16 final): Narek Ikilikyan — Gadzhimurad Gadzhibaturov (Russia) — 2:4
Tomorrow, the leaders of the Armenian team — Sargis Begoyan (61 kg) and Razmik Yepremyan (86 kg) — will enter the competition.
