The Yerevan futsal club Unisport played two friendly matches during its training camp in Yekaterinburg, finishing the series with one victory and a narrow defeat.
Victory over “VIZ-Sinara-2” — 4:3
In the first match, Unisport defeated VIZ-Sinara-2, a team representing the Russian Higher League, with a score of 4:3.
The goals for the Armenian team were scored by Armenia national team forward Putrus Vasiliev, as well as Edgar Mkrtchyan, Narek Galstyan, and Edvard Mkrtchyan.
Armenia national team defender Hamlet Manukyan and goalkeeper Emin Garabekyants also took part in the match and performed reliably.
It is worth noting that the opponent was strengthened by six players from Sinara’s main squad, one of the leading teams in the Russian Super League. Meanwhile, Unisport played without several key players — including Sarkis Margaryan, Rafik Melikyan, and Gor Sargsyan.
Narrow Defeat to “Sintura” — 4:5
In the second and final match of the training camp, Unisport lost 4:5 to the local team Sintura.
The goals for the Yerevan side were scored by Hamlet Manukyan, Narek Galstyan, Edvard Mkrtchyan, and Yerbol Dolotov.
Despite the defeat, the team delivered a solid performance against the leader of the Higher League (East zone), finishing the camp with valuable playing practice and strong offensive output.
