Antony Sardaryan to Leave Nürnberg After Four Years in the Academy

17-year-old Armenian footballer Antony Sardaryan will leave German club Nürnberg at the end of the current season. The young winger has played for Nürnberg’s youth teams over the past four years. This season, he represented the U17 side in the U17 Nachwuchsliga – Liga A, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists in 19 matches.
On social media, Sardaryan shared a farewell post thanking the club and team, and announced he would continue his career at another club:
“After four amazing years, it’s time to open a new chapter. So many beautiful memories — wins, goals, assists, and countless great moments with the team. Huge thanks to my teammates, coaches, and staff who supported me along the way. Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and helping me improve every single day.
FC Nürnberg will always mean a lot to me, and I’m proud of everything we achieved together. Now it’s time for a new challenge. I’m excited and proud to be joining a new team. I’m looking forward to giving my 100% in this next chapter. But this club will forever be part of my story!”
Sardaryan has not yet revealed the name of his new club.
He has made two appearances for the Armenia U16 national team.
