Elina Avanesyan reaches WTA quarterfinals in Mérida

Armenian tennis player Elina Avanesyan continues her strong performance at the WTA tournament in Mérida, Mexico. In the round of 16, she confidently defeated Spanish athlete Jessica Bouzas Maneiro with a score of 6-1, 6-4.
Avanesyan dominated the match from start to finish. She demonstrated high serving accuracy, landing 74% of her first serves without a single double fault. Elina also won 69% of points on her first serve and scored a total of 65 points compared to her opponent's 49.
In the quarterfinals, Elina will face Australian player Maya Joint.
