Armenian tennis player Elina Avanesyan has ended her run at the WTA-1000 tournament in Doha, failing to advance past the Round of 32.
The world’s No. 48 lost in two sets to Russia’s Daria Kasatkina (No. 12) with a score of 2-6, 3-6. The match lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Kasatkina’s next opponent will be the world’s No. 5, Jessica Pegula from the USA.
