Elida Kocharyan wins bronze at European Boxing Championships

Armenian boxer Elida Kocharyan has won bronze in the women’s 65 kg division at the 2026 European Boxing Championships in Sofia.
Kocharyan lost her semifinal to Russia’s Azaliia Amineva by unanimous decision, 5–0. Amineva will face Hungary’s Luca Hámori in the final.
Kocharyan reached the semifinals with three victories over opponents from Spain, Albania and Romania. For the three-time European youth champion, the bronze in Sofia is her first medal at a senior European championship.
