Eduard Spertsyan Records Fourth Saudi Pro League Assist as Al-Ahli Thrash Al-Khaleej

Armenia national team midfielder and captain Eduard Spertsyan registered an assist in the 11th round of the Saudi Pro League as Al-Ahli cruised to a convincing 4-1 home victory over Al-Khaleej.
The match took place on October 23 in Jeddah. The Armenian international started the game and helped his team open the scoring just 11 minutes into the contest.
Spertsyan delivered a precise cross from a free kick, allowing English striker Ivan Toney to head the ball into the back of the net.
It was Spertsyan's fourth assist of the current Saudi Pro League season.
Al-Ahli Score Four Goals in Convincing Victory
After Toney's opener, the hosts continued to control the match, although the score remained unchanged until halftime.
In the second half, Al-Ahli extended their advantage to three goals. Ukrainian midfielder Artem Bondarenko doubled the lead in the 57th minute, and Francisco Trincão added a third just four minutes later, in the 61st minute.
Spertsyan was substituted in the 66th minute, leaving the pitch with Al-Ahli leading 3-0.
Late in the game, the visitors managed to pull one goal back through Tamer Al-Khaibri in the 87th minute, despite playing with ten men since the 69th minute.
However, Al-Ahli had the final say. In the sixth minute of stoppage time, Toney converted a penalty to complete his brace and seal the 4-1 victory.
Following this win, Al-Ahli moved to 21 points and sit fifth in the Saudi Pro League standings.
