Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan has been named the WINLINE Player of November and December in the Russian Premier League. The club captain confidently claimed the main individual award of the end of the year, winning two out of three votes — from league experts and fans.
In the fan poll, Spertsyan received over 42 percent of the votes, finishing well ahead of his closest rivals, while RPL experts gave him a decisive edge thanks to his consistency and influence on the team’s play. MATCH PREMIER commentators were split in their opinions: some experts highlighted John Córdoba, but it was not enough to displace the Bulls’ captain from first place.
November and December were highly productive months for Spertsyan. In five league matches, he scored three goals and provided two assists — the best tally in the league during that period. Overall this season, the midfielder remains the RPL leader in assists (12) and also tops the “goals + assists” chart (8+12).
Experts point out not only the statistics but also Spertsyan’s key role in Krasnodar’s game. He sets the attacking tempo, finds space intelligently between the lines, delivers dangerous set pieces and regularly takes responsibility in decisive moments. Largely thanks to his performances, the team went into the winter break at the top of the table and is a serious contender for the championship.
The WINLINE Player of the Month award is decided based on three votes — from fans, RPL experts and MATCH PREMIER commentators. The winner is the player who prevails in the majority of polls, which Eduard Spertsyan confidently achieved in November and December.
As a result, the Krasnodar captain joined the list of award winners for the 2025/26 season — previously including Alexey Batrakov, Maksim Glushenkov and Dmitry Vorobyov — and finished the football year as one of the leading figures of the current Russian championship.
