Armenia national team captain Eduard Spertsyan registered an assist in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League as Al-Ahli secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Al-Fateh.
The Armenian midfielder started the match on the bench and came on immediately after halftime, with his team leading 1-0.
Spertsyan quickly made an impact, playing a part in two of Al-Ahli's goals. First, he delivered the pass that initiated the move leading to Trincão's second goal of the match. He then recorded an official assist, setting up Ivan Toney.
Al-Johani completed the scoring with Al-Ahli's fourth goal.
The victory lifted Spertsyan's team to fifth place in the Saudi Pro League standings.
For the 26-year-old Armenian international, it was his third assist of the season.
