Armenian UFC fighter Edmen Shahbazyan (15-5) made weight for the middleweight division, coming in at 84.1 kg. His opponent, Brazilian André Muniz (24-7), also hit the limit at 84.1 kg. The fight will take place on the night of Sunday, October 5, in Las Vegas as part of UFC 320.
For Shahbazyan, this is his third consecutive fight since returning — he’s currently on a two-fight win streak and aims to break into the middleweight top 15. A victory over the experienced Muniz would be a significant step toward that goal.
The main event of the card will be a light heavyweight title rematch between champion Magomed Ankalaev and No. 1 contender Alex Pereira. In the co-main event, bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili will face Cory Sandhagen.
