The Armenian U21 national team midfielder, Edgar Piloyan, played for Botev Plovdiv’s first team for the first time. He came on in the 64th minute of the Bulgarian league match against Spartak Varna, replacing Bulgaria national team player Yanis Karabelov.
Botev Plovdiv lost 0-1 and currently sits in 3rd place in the league.
The 20-year-old footballer joined the Bulgarian club in the summer of 2024 from Van, but until now, he had only played for Botev’s youth team.
