Today, on March 16, at 17:30, the Armenian national football team held its first training session ahead of the UEFA Nations League playoff match against Georgia, scheduled for March 20.
This was the first session under the guidance of the national team's new head coach, Dutchman John van 't Schip. The 61-year-old former Netherlands international showcased excellent physical shape, surprising many fans.
Van 't Schip actively participated in the training process and successfully headed the ball several times while jumping.
On the first day of the training camp, the squad was not yet complete: only players from the local championship joined the session, along with Artur Miranyan, who had played a match in Romania on Friday. The rest of the foreign-based players will arrive later.
