RAF (Real American Freestyle) has announced two major matchups set to headline the RAF 6 event, scheduled for January 28 in Arizona. The bouts will feature MMA stars and elite world-class wrestlers.
As part of the professional freestyle wrestling tournament, the following matchups will take place:
Henry Cejudo vs Urijah Faber
Muhammad Mokaev vs Bryce Meredith
The clash between Mokaev and Meredith draws special attention. Bryce Meredith is known not only as a PFL fighter with a 7–1 MMA record, but also as one of the most accomplished wrestlers of his generation. The American is a two-time NCAA champion and a three-time All-American in freestyle wrestling, making him an extremely dangerous opponent in the RAF format.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Henry Cejudo and Urijah Faber will be a true battle of legends. Both former UFC champions possess strong wrestling backgrounds and vast experience competing at the highest level.
RAF 6 continues the promotion’s strategy of bringing together MMA stars, Olympic wrestlers, and NCAA champions within professional freestyle wrestling. The league’s format is rapidly gaining popularity in the United States and promises fans exciting and highly competitive matchups.
It should be noted that on January 10, Arman Tsarukyan will compete at the RAF 5 event in Florida.
