Yerevan football club Urartu has announced the departure of two players following the end of the season. Forward Alexander Lowe and defender Ebenezer Prince have left the team.
According to the club’s press service, the players’ contracts with Urartu expired, and the sides decided not to extend their cooperation. Both footballers joined the Yerevan club in the summer of 2025.
The completed season was a difficult one for Urartu. The team finished fifth in the Armenian championship and failed to secure a place in European competitions for next season.
Thus, the club begins the off-season with squad changes. The departures of Lowe and Prince could be part of a broader renewal of the team ahead of the new campaign, in which Urartu will try to return to the fight for the top positions.
