Donovan Parisian wins his first penalty shootout in MLS Next Pro

New England Revolution II goalkeeper and Armenia U21 national team player* Donovan Parisian earned his first penalty shootout victory in the MLS Next Pro championship.

In a home match against Columbus Crew 2, the regular time ended 2-2, and the winner was decided in a post-match shootout. Parisian managed to save one opponent’s shot and helped his team win on penalties. This victory lifted Revolution II to 4th place in the Eastern Conference.

Gevork Diabrian, another representative of Armenian football at the club, also started the match and played 87 minutes.

*Parizyan has not yet made his debut for the Armenia U21 national team.
