Davit Sevlikyan – MMA European Champion Under 15 (VIDEO)
The IMMAF 2025 European MMA Championship continues in Belgrade. On February 16, the competitions for athletes under 15 took place. The Armenian national team won one gold and two bronze medals.
Davit Sevlikyan (62 kg) became the champion. In the group stage, he defeated opponents from England, Finland, and Belgium. In the playoffs, he overcame fighters from Israel and Serbia, and in the final, he secured victory over a Ukrainian opponent by a split decision.
Narek Simonyan (40 kg) won a bronze medal, defeating an Estonian opponent but losing to two Ukrainians and an English fighter.
Another bronze medal was claimed by Arshak Galstyan (44 kg), who defeated athletes from Ukraine and Romania but lost to another Ukrainian competitor.
It is worth noting that the day before, in the competitions for athletes under 11 and under 13, the Armenian team won six medals.
On February 17, the competitions for athletes under 17 will take place, while from February 19, adult fighters will enter the mats.
