Volgograd’s “Rotor” confidently defeated “KAMAZ” 3-0 in the 10th round of the Russian First League and climbed to third place in the standings.
The score was opened by Armenian winger David Davidyan, assisted by his relative Artem Simonyan. This was Davidyan’s second goal of the season, along with two assists. Simonyan recorded his fourth assist of the season (he had previously scored once and provided three assists).
After the Armenian goal, Rotor increased the pressure and sealed a convincing win with goals from Ilya Safronov and Alexander Khokhlachev.
This victory allowed Rotor to enter the leaders’ zone and strengthen their promotion ambitions.
