The 22-year-old Armenian faced American fighter Asa Ten Pow in a featherweight bout (up to 66 kg).
Mgoyan needed less than two minutes to finish the fight. The Armenian fighter successfully locked in a rear-naked choke, forcing his opponent to submit. The referee stopped the contest at 1:55 of the first round.
