David Andreasyan won the Spartakiad of Russia in Greco-Roman wrestling

Athlete of Armenian origin David Andreasyan, representing the Moscow region, became the winner of the 2025 All-Russian Spartakiad in Greco-Roman wrestling in the weight category up to 87 kg.
The competitions were held on August 30 in Rostov-on-Don. In the decisive bout, Andreasyan confidently defeated his opponent from Chechnya, Shamsudinov, with a score of 4:0 and won the gold medal of the tournament.
The victory at the Spartakiad became an important achievement in Andreasyan’s sports career and strengthened his position among the strongest wrestlers in the country.
