Dagestan Dominates: Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championships 2025 Conclude in Moscow

On June 28, the 2025 Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championships concluded in Moscow. Held over June 27–28, the tournament served not only as a prestigious national event but also as a key qualifier for the 2025 World Championships set to take place in Croatia this September.

The results confirmed Dagestan’s dominance, with its wrestlers claiming gold in 8 out of 10 weight categories.
