U23 World Championships in Greco-Roman Wrestling: Results of Day Three

On October 22, in the Serbian city of Novi Sad, the third day of the 2025 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Greco-Roman style took place. On this day, champions and medalists were determined in the weight categories up to 55 kg, 67 kg, 72 kg, and 97 kg. Wrestlers in the 60 kg and 82 kg divisions also began their competition, with the finalists for tomorrow now decided.
In addition, women’s wrestling began in two weight categories — 50 kg and 72 kg — where the finalists were also determined.
Today, wrestlers from Azerbaijan, Egypt, Iran, and Ukraine became world champions.
In the Armenian team, Gaspar Terteryan (72 kg) and Arshak Geghamyan (97 kg) competed for bronze medals but lost, finishing in fifth place.
