2025 U20 Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championship: First Champions Announced

On August 22, the sixth day of the U20 World Wrestling Championships, the first winners and medalists in Greco-Roman wrestling were determined. The finals took place in two weight categories, 60 kg and 82 kg, and the finalists in four more weights were also decided: 55, 67, 72, and 97 kg.

For Team Armenia, Yurik Mkhitaryan (60 kg) won silver, while Gaspar Terteryan (72 kg) reached the final and will fight for gold tomorrow.

Tomorrow, wrestlers from seven different countries will compete in the finals: two from Iran, and one each from Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
