Taekwondo World Championships 2025: Results of Day 6 in Wuxi

On October 29, the sixth day of the 2025 Taekwondo World Championships took place in Wuxi, China, featuring men’s and women’s divisions. Medals were awarded in two weight categories — men’s under 58 kg and women’s under 62 kg.

The gold medals went to athletes from Iran and Tunisia.

Results of Day 6 – 2025 Taekwondo World Championships
Men’s under 58 kg:

1. Abolfazl Zandi (Iran)

2. Georgy Gurtsiev (Russia)

3. Huang Kefen (China) & Gashim Magomedov (Azerbaijan)

Women’s under 62 kg:

1. Wafa Maghouni (Tunisia)

2. Viviana Marton (Hungary)

3. Gabriella Blewitt (Australia) & Chen Simin (China)

On October 30, the final day of the tournament, medals will be contested in the men’s under 74 kg and women’s under 53 kg divisions.

Currently, South Korea leads the medal standings with 2 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, while Turkey, Brazil, and Tunisia also have 2 golds each.
