U15 European Freestyle Wrestling Championship: Five Armenian Cadets Reach the Semifinals

On June 25, the U15 European Freestyle Wrestling Championship kicked off in Caorle, Italy. The opening day featured preliminary bouts in all weight categories.
Team Armenia was represented by 13 athletes, five of whom successfully advanced to the semifinal stage.
Semifinal matchups involving Armenian wrestlers:

52 kg: Aren Mirzoyan vs. Myumyunov (Bulgaria)

57 kg: Erik Papikyan vs. Hasanov (Azerbaijan)

57 kg: Tigran Kolotyan vs. Huseynov (Azerbaijan)

62 kg: Hamlet Antonyan vs. Nagy (Romania)

75 kg: Artur Mkrtchyan vs. Gogiberidze (Georgia)
An all-Armenian final is possible in the 57 kg category, should Papikyan and Kolotyan both win their semifinals.
The semifinal bouts will take place later today.
