On June 14, the first finals of the U17 European Freestyle Wrestling Championship took place in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. On the second day of the tournament, the winners and medalists were determined in the 48, 55, 65, 80, and 110 kg weight categories. Finalists in the remaining five weight classes were also decided.

Armenian wrestlers won two medals: Artak Agabekyan (48 kg) took silver, and Armen Papikyan (55 kg) won bronze. After the first finals, the Armenian team ranks third in the team standings.

So far, Russian wrestlers — who are not included in the official medal table — have won the most medals: 2 golds, 2 silvers, and 1 bronze.

Up to 48 kg:
