On April 14, the second day of the 2025 European Weightlifting Championship took place in Chișinău, the capital of Moldova. On this day, medals were contested in two men’s weight categories — up to 55 kg and up to 61 kg — as well as in the women’s 55 kg category.
Three athletes represented Armenia, securing 2 major medals and 2 minor ones. Aleksandra Grigoryan (55 kg) won silver, while Garnik Cholakyan (61 kg) claimed bronze. Isabella Yaylyan (55 kg) did not reach the podium, finishing in 6th place.
Bulgarian athletes took two gold medals, and France won one.
