Montenegro, who will face Armenia this autumn in the Nations League, defeated Bulgaria in a friendly match.
The game took place on June 1 in Plovdiv and ended with a 1-0 victory for the Montenegrin side. The only goal came in the second half: substitute Balša Sekulić, who plays for local club Mornar Bar, scored in the 68th minute.
For Montenegro, this match was part of their preparation for the upcoming fixtures. On June 5, the team will play another friendly match, this time against Slovakia.
As a reminder, Montenegro will face Armenia on September 28 in the Nations League. For the Armenian national team, it will be an important match against an opponent that is already gaining match rhythm through friendly games.
