Supporters of Warsaw’s Legia expressed their gratitude to the Armenian fan club FAF Ultras for the warm welcome and assistance during their visit to Yerevan for the UEFA Conference League match against Noah, which took place on December 11.
As a reminder, by UEFA’s decision, fans of the Polish club were banned from attending the away match. Despite this, around 700 Legia supporters traveled to Yerevan and managed to attend the game by purchasing tickets in the home supporters’ sections. Eventually, by decision of FC Noah and law enforcement authorities, the Polish fans were placed in the away stand.

Due to the absence of an official away fan visit, no special transportation or accommodation arrangements were organized for Legia supporters in the city. In this situation, representatives of the Armenian fan movement FAF Ultras came to their aid, providing the necessary support during their stay in Yerevan.
As a sign of appreciation, on December 14 during the Polish league match against Piast Gliwice, Legia fans displayed a banner in the stands reading: FAF Respect.

It should be noted that the match ended unsuccessfully for the Warsaw club — Legia lost 0–1 and is currently in the relegation zone of the Polish championship. Armenian national team midfielder Vahan Bichakhchyan started the match and spent 67 minutes on the pitch.
