BKMA and Urartu draw in the first round

On August 2, in the first round of the new Armenian Premier League season, BKMA and Urartu played out a 1-1 draw.

The score was opened in the 13th minute by Urartu's Brazilian winger Bruno Michel. In the second half, the Army Men managed to equalize: after an excellent pass from Vyacheslav Afyan, Narek Hovhannisyan struck the target.

At the end of the match, Urartu had a chance to snatch the victory, but in the 96th minute, after a VAR review, the referee overturned the awarded penalty against BKMA.

This was the second match of the 2025/26 Armenian Premier League season. In the tournament's opening game, Gandzasar and Ararat also shared the points with a 1-1 draw.
