On October 18, Belgrano secured an important victory in the 13th round of the Argentine Clausura, beating Boca Juniors 2–1.
Team captain Lucas Zelarayán started the match and played the full 90 minutes, once again demonstrating his leadership and consistency. Notably, just a few days earlier, on October 14, the 32-year-old midfielder had represented the Armenian national team in a friendly match in Dublin. In that game, Zelarayán contributed to a goal-scoring play — after his free-kick delivery, an opponent sent the ball into his own net.
After 13 rounds, Belgrano sits in 4th place in the standings and continues its fight for the top spots in the championship.
