On June 1, in the super final of the 2024/25 Russian Cup, Rostov, featuring Khoren Bayramyan, faced CSKA Moscow, where Artyom Bandikyan is on the roster.
Bandikyan was not included in the squad for the match, as he is currently with the Armenian U21 national team. Bayramyan, however, did take part in the game, coming on in the 88th minute. The regular time ended in a goalless draw, and the fate of the trophy was decided in a penalty shootout.
CSKA proved more accurate, winning the shootout 4–3. For Rostov, both Khoren Bayramyan and Aleksei Sutormin missed their penalties.
19-year-old defender Artyom Bandikyan became a Russian Cup winner with CSKA. He did not appear in any cup matches but was included in the matchday squad eight times. In the current season, he has played twice in the Russian Premier League. Notably, Bandikyan was previously captain of CSKA’s youth team and was promoted to the senior squad at the beginning of 2025.
