Artur Serobyan to Play with Sheriff in Europa League Qualifiers

21-year-old Armenian national team forward Artur Serobyan will take part in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League with Tiraspol’s Sheriff. The team earned the right to compete in European tournaments through the Moldovan Cup, as they are set to play in the final against reigning champions Milsami on May 24. Even if Sheriff loses the final, they will still qualify for the Europa League as runners-up in the national championship.
In the final round of the Moldovan championship, Sheriff drew 0-0 with Milsami and missed the chance to become national champions — they needed a win to secure the title. Artur Serobyan did not participate in that match.
In the 2024/25 season, Serobyan showed impressive statistics: he scored 7 goals and provided 12 assists — 5 goals and 6 assists for Ararat-Armenia, and 2 goals and 6 assists for Sheriff. The winger joined the Moldovan club on loan in the winter of 2025 with an option to buy. The agreement runs until December 2025.
