– Thank you! I am very happy to sign with such a big and significant club in Moldova. I am happy to be here, to train, and to play.
– How did the negotiations go, and why did you choose to move to Tiraspol?
– "Sheriff" is well-known abroad, so I really wanted to prove myself here. The club showed interest in me, and I ultimately decided to sign the contract. The negotiations went well: we discussed all matters with the club director and the team coach.
– What are your personal goals now in Tiraspol?
– To put it briefly and importantly: I want to help the team by scoring goals and providing assists. That is a crucial contribution to winning trophies.
– You have already met the team and coaching staff. What are your first impressions?
– My first impressions are good and positive. We work a lot, and in this process, we get along well and find a common language.
– Your first friendly match was against "Milsami." How did you evaluate your performance?
– This was my first game in a "Sheriff" jersey, and I am very happy about it. The team delivered an excellent performance, and I managed to score a goal and provide two assists. I hope to continue in the same spirit.
– You started your journey at "Ararat-Armenia." What were the key lessons from that period?
– I learned a lot there. I started playing at 17 and, let’s say, improved my football skills. I had a great experience working with a strong Spanish coach, David Campaña.
– How did you adapt at "Casa Pia" in Portugal? What new experiences did you gain playing abroad?
– In Portugal, I gained valuable experience, not only in terms of gameplay. I matured mentally regarding football and everything surrounding it. It was an invaluable experience. Plus, I got to feel the atmosphere of matches against teams like "Porto" and "Benfica." These were unforgettable games.
– Debuting for the Armenian national team at 19 is a great achievement. How do you remember your first match against Montenegro?
– I cannot put into words how important that day was for me. It was one of the best days of my football career. I am very happy and proud to represent my country.
– You have played 18 matches for the national team and provided three assists. What other memorable moments do you have?
– Playing for the national team is very important for me. There is still a lot of work ahead. I started playing at a high level quite early, which is great. One of the most memorable moments was our 4-2 victory over Wales in Cardiff. Such moments stay with you forever.
– At 21, you have already achieved significant results. What goals do you set for yourself in the coming years?
– Right now, my goals are focused on FC "Sheriff." I want to score more goals, win, claim the championship, and prove myself in European competitions.
– What is your strongest skill that will help the team in the upcoming season?
– I think it’s my dribbling, shooting, and assists.
– You play as a right winger. Would you like to try other positions?
– I can play on the left wing or as a "number ten." I have had experience in these positions before.
– Are there any footballers you look up to or who inspire you?
– Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest players for me. I am inspired by his work ethic on and off the field. His mentality is something to learn from.
– What role do your family and loved ones play in your career?
– Family is very important to me. I play for my loved ones because they always support me. I dedicate a lot of time to football, but they understand that sacrifices are necessary to achieve success.
– What do you do in your free time? Do you have hobbies outside of football?
– Mostly, I rest. I also enjoy playing tennis.
– Your message to the fans who are waiting for your debut?
– I want to tell them that I am also eagerly waiting for my official debut. I really want to bring them joy with my game and goals.
