Armenia U21 forward Artur Gharibyan, 19 year old, may be on the verge of moving to the Russian Premier League this winter. The young Armenian striker has caught the attention of CSKA Moscow and Baltika Kaliningrad.
According to our information, scouts from both clubs are closely monitoring Gharibyan’s progress, and during the winter break the player is expected to be invited for a trial at their international training camps.
It is noted that Baltika are showing the strongest interest, and Gharibyan is set to join the Kaliningrad-based club first — the team led by Andrey Talalaev.
Garibyan is currently contracted to Rodina Moscow and is playing on loan at Spartak Kostroma, where he has become one of the key players this season: he has scored 5 goals and delivered 2 assists in 14 matches. His team is among the leaders of Russia’s First League.
Artur is a tall, physical striker standing at 191 cm, strong in aerial duels and confident in physical battles, consistently holding up the ball in attacking play.
