In the final match of the RPL, Akron suffered a heavy defeat against Lokomotiv with a score of 1–4. Armenian midfielder Artur Galoyan was involved in Akron’s only goal.
Artur came on after halftime and delivered an assist in the 85th minute, crossing from a corner to Gilson Tavares.
