Armenian gymnast Artur Davtyan triumphed in the first round of the Italian Serie A, competing for Artistica Brescia. The Olympic silver medalist demonstrated outstanding performances on multiple apparatuses, making a significant contribution to his team’s overall success.
Davtyan’s greatest achievements came in vault, where he scored 14.750 points, and on rings, where he earned 13.900 points, securing first place in both events. Additionally, he competed on the pommel horse, achieving a solid score of 13.600 points. His performances were crucial for Brescia, which ultimately finished in second place at the end of the round.
It is worth noting that other international gymnasts also played a key role in this stage of the competition. Notably, Ukrainian athlete Ilia Kovtun, representing Palestra Ginnastica Ferrara, delivered strong performances across all disciplines and won the all-around competition. His scores included 14.000 points on the pommel horse, 13.800 on parallel bars, 13.600 on the horizontal bar, 14.000 in vault, 13.350 in floor exercises, and 13.050 on rings.
Additionally, in December and January, Artur Davtyan competed in the French Open Gymnastics Championship, where he also showcased impressive results.
