26-year-old Armenian hockey player Artyom Manukyan returned to the ice in Europe's top league for the first time since 2021. The forward played 10 minutes in the KHL regular-season match between Lada and Avtomobilist (2:4).
Lada signed Artyom Manukyan in December 2024 from the VHL club CSK VVS, but according to the agreement, he continued playing for CSK VVS. For the match against Avtomobilist, Manukyan was called up to Lada’s roster and received playing time.
This season, he has recorded 11 goals and 5 assists in the VHL. Previously, he played in the KHL for Admiral and Avangard, appearing in 115 games and scoring 7 goals. After suffering an injury, Manukyan played for VHL clubs and also in the Armenian championship for the Peppers team.
Another Armenian hockey player, Andrey Altybarmakyan, also plays for Lada and participated in the match against Avtomobilist.
