Artyom Bandikyan played the full match for CSKA in the first Russian Cup quarterfinal

20-year-old CSKA midfielder and recently called-up Armenian national team player Artyom Bandikyan made his first start for the club after receiving his invitation to the national team, playing the entire Russian Cup quarterfinal match.
The game took place in Makhachkala and ended in a narrow 1–0 victory for Dynamo. The only goal was scored by Rajab Magomedov, who converted a penalty in the added time of the first half (45+5).
The second leg will be held on November 26 in Moscow.
This match was special for Bandikyan — it was his first start as a key CSKA player after being called up to Armenia’s national team, highlighting the coaching staff’s growing trust in the young midfielder.
Bandikyan has been called up for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Hungary (November 13) and Portugal (November 16).
