Pyunik Yerevan head coach Artak Oseyan will continue working with the team. The club has announced a contract extension with the 39-year-old Armenian specialist and his coaching staff.
Oseyan took charge of Pyunik at the beginning of the season, replacing Yeghishe Melikyan, who left the club to become the head coach of the Armenia national team.
Despite a difficult situation and a coaching change during an important period, Oseyan managed to stabilize the team’s performances and keep Pyunik among the leaders of Armenian football. Under his guidance, the Yerevan club remained in the title race until the final rounds and secured a place in European competitions.
The contract extension confirms the club management’s trust in Oseyan and his staff. The new agreement will allow them to continue developing the team and prepare for the next season, in which Pyunik will compete both domestically and in Europe.
For the 39-year-old specialist, this will be another important stage in his coaching career and an opportunity to build on the results achieved at the helm of one of Armenia’s leading clubs.
