Arsen Baghryan wins bronze at the 2025 World Wushu Championships

Armenian athlete Arsen Baghryan (60 kg) claimed the bronze medal at the 2025 World Wushu Championships in the sanda discipline. The tournament took place in Brazil’s capital from September 1 to 7.
On his way to the medal, Baghryan secured confident victories over competitors from Egypt and the USA, but in the semifinals, he was defeated by a Chinese fighter, earning a bronze medal.
Other members of the Armenian national team included Jirair Petrosyan, David Vardanyan, and Avanes Zakaryan.
