Armenian sambist Karlen Mahinyan became a prize-winner at the tournament in Moscow

Armenian sambist Karlen Mahinyan (71 kg) won the bronze medal at the 2025 Sambo Founders' Cup international tournament held in Moscow.

In addition, sambists of Armenian origin became prize-winners as part of the Russian national team: Eduard Muradyan (58 kg) won gold, and Anjela Gasparyan (+80 kg) took the silver medal.
