Armenian judoka Zhora Gevorgyan wins gold at the "Eurasia Cup" in Orenburg

Armenian judoka Zhora Gevorgyan became the winner of the international U18 tournament "Eurasia Cup 2025," which took place in Orenburg, Russia, on May 22 and 23. In the 81 kg weight category, the athlete from Yerevan secured four consecutive victories over Russian opponents and claimed the gold medal.
Another member of the Armenian national team, Narek Nahapetyan, earned a bronze medal in the 60 kg category.
A total of eight Armenian judokas participated in the tournament. In addition to athletes from Armenia, the competition also featured participants from Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
