Armenian Journalists Win First European Football Championship Title

The Armenian national team of football journalists became the winner of the first European Championship, held in the Lithuanian city of Druskininkai.

In the final match, the Armenian team achieved a confident 2:0 victory over the Ukrainian journalists’ team and claimed the tournament’s main trophy.

It is worth noting that the European Championship among journalists was held in such a format for the first time. The competition brought together 14 teams representing Armenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia, Belarus, Hungary, Poland, Greece, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and other countries.

Thus, Armenian journalists made history by becoming the first holders of the European champion title in this new tournament.
