Today, Yerevan was filled with a true football atmosphere. Just a few hours before the Armenia vs. Portugal match at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, national team supporters organized a large-scale march.
The two main Armenian fan groups — FAF Ultras and Red Eagles — united for a joint march. More than five hours before kickoff, hundreds of fans carrying Armenian symbols gathered near the Opera House and made their way towards the stadium.
The march was accompanied by loud chants, drums, and a vibrant pyro show. According to eyewitnesses, the city temporarily turned into one big fan sector, and the atmosphere resembled a true football festival.
