Armenian wrestlers to compete at Veterans World Championships in Amman

The 2026 Veterans World Wrestling Championships will take place in Amman, Jordan, from October 6 to 11. Seven wrestlers of Armenian origin will compete in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, with two representing Armenia and five competing for Russia.
Armenia's representatives
Vahram Khachatryan will compete in Greco-Roman wrestling in the Veterans A 78 kg weight category.
Armen Karapetyan is entered in two disciplines. He will compete in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling in the Veterans B 70 kg category.
Armenian wrestlers representing Russia
Five wrestlers of Armenian origin will represent Russia at the World Championships:
