Armenian wrestlers continue to perform successfully in the German Bundesliga

Armenian wrestlers are showing strong results in the 2025/26 season of the German Wrestling Bundesliga.

Representing KSV Köllerbach, Arsen Harutyunyan and Hayk Melikyan delivered impressive performances in the third and fourth rounds of the league.

In Round 3, Harutyunyan dominated Mikhail Lapp with a score of 15:0, while Melikyan lost 1:6 to Valentin Petic. In Round 4, Arsen continued his winning streak, defeating Germany’s national team member Niklas Stechele 5:1, and Hayk Melikyan earned a convincing 12:1 victory over Artur Tatarinov. KSV Köllerbach celebrated team victories in both matches.

Another Armenian representative, Shant Khachatryan of KSC Hösbach, was narrowly defeated 1:3 by Mehmet Sahin in the third round.

In the Second Bundesliga, Norayr Ahoyan also impressed, claiming a confident 7:0 win over Gleb Titov.
