Armenian Boxers Secure Victories at the Badou Jack vs. Noel Mikaelian II Fight Night in Los Angeles

At the Badou Jack vs. Noel Mikaelian II boxing event held in December in Los Angeles, two Armenian boxers also stepped into the ring and recorded confident victories.
Denis Davtian (5-0) from Kharkiv defeated American Lorenzo Vasquez Avalos (2-1). The bout went the full six rounds and ended in a unanimous decision, 60:54 on all judges’ scorecards. Davtyan fully controlled the fight and comfortably secured the win.
In the second bout, Samvel Gandilyan (8-0-1) from Krasnodar faced Mexico’s Roberto Pucheta (14-28-3). The fight also went the distance and concluded with a unanimous decision victory for Gandilyan — 58:55, 60:53, and 60:53.
Both Armenian boxers currently reside in the United States and train under Roma Kalantaryan in Glendale.
As a reminder, in the main event of the evening, Noel Mikaelian defeated Badou Jack to claim the WBC cruiserweight world title.
